New Bags!

Well, here are some of the new bags I have been working on. I have been inspired by the nightly chill in the Vancouver air and have been doing more fall colours. There are more to come soon but I have just not had time to photoshop everything!

This Triangle bag is made of a grey and black lambskin with a deep red silk shantung. I just feel that this bag is very sharp.

This Rectangle Bag is made of a cream and dark chocolate lambskin. It is lined with a beautiful floral cotton print. I love this bag because it is super feminine and has so many great fall colours in the lining. Speaking of fall..I have been waiting for the weather to get cooler so that I can justify buying a gorgeous piece from my all time favorite Etsy seller. Her name is Yokoo. She is amazing. I can't wait to pick something from her shop. Here are some that I am thinking about.

A Break From Bags

I have been sewing customers bags this week and sending them off..but I have also been sewing some new bags for my shop www.satchelbag.etsy.com . The colours I am using are more fall - reds, deep yellows maybe even some oranges. I am usually a big blue/green girl so it takes conscious effort for me not to sew everything in cool colours! I am hoping to have the new pics up sometime this week. I just thought I would share some other items on Etsy that I am loving. My sister is having a baby in the winter and I put together a little gift bag for her a month ago. Two of the items were from Etsy.

These booties are from Handmadebabylove. They are so adorable and perfect for the cold winter the new baby will have to endure (my sister lives in Edmonton, Alberta).

This is an item from littlealouette. It is a husband and wife duo who makes these beautiful wooden toys. The one I got specifically is for teething and in the shape of a giraffe. Check them out at www.littlealouette.etsy.com.

Back from Vacation

I am officially back at work and back to bag making. It took a couple days to get back into the rhythm of things, but I did. Now that summer is winding down (I have finally come to terms with it) I have been thinking about some new fall bags. I have a couple new designs in the works, along with different leathers and colours! I am very excited to have all the kinks worked out and be able to post some new stuff.
