Banff

I have been a bit behind on my blogging lately due to the fact that Darren and I took a trip to Banff/Edmonton for a week to relax and get a bunch of wedding planning done. It was the most amazing trip and so many exciting and fun things happened. I will be posting more on some of the highlights later (umm bridal shower?) but for now I just want to share some beautiful photos that Darren captured in one of our favorite places; Banff.  It was a bit of a drive, but we just listened to some great driving tunes and had lots of laughs.  We spent my birthday and our 7 year anniversary there for the first two days of the trip!

Hemingway and Pickett

If you live in, or are visiting the Silver Lake neighbourhood of Los Angeles, you must to check out Hemingway and Pickett.  This store is not only beautiful inside, but they carry some of the most unique, one of a kind pieces (including my bags as of recently)!

The Most Beautiful Day

Yesterday two of my great friends (Mitch and Emma) tied the knot.  They had the most beautiful and personal wedding.  The ceremony was at her grandfather's house right on the ocean front in West Vancouver.  The reception was at the beautiful Gleneagles golf course.  The whole day was perfect, even the things that could not be controlled (like the weather).  My favorite part of the day was when the couple read their written vows.  The vows were so hilariously similar (I think some of the sentences were actually word for word the same).  It just showed how well they know each other and their relationship.

Amazing.

Dreams

Today while sewing I started thinking about what my ideal home office space would look like if money/location was not an issue.  I started surfing the web and one thing lead to another.  I found some amazingly beautiful spaces.  I thought I would share a couple.  Feel free to dream along with me today.

Combination Films

Film and visual media have always been two things that I have really loved.  From a very young age I can remember being really drawn to movies.  Once I started dating Darren, my passion for film increased.  We are both pretty movie crazy, and then you put the two of us together....bottom line is that we watch a lot of movies.

Darren has been working in film for some time now.  He and some friends from film school have been working on some pretty amazing projects these past couple years, and recently they made it official.  Their company is Combination Films and they have some really exciting the wonderful things ahead of them.  If you need any sort of multi- media project produced, they can do it.  I know I may be bias, but their work speaks for itself.
